Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate stock records within the warehouse management system.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts (if certified) and pallet jacks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure proper labeling.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and cross-functional teams to resolve inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is highly preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in narrow aisles.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse software or handheld scanners is a plus.
- Certification: Forklift certification (Class A or B) is preferred but not mandatory for immediate hire.
- Reliability: Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation.
