Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and pack products for shipment using appropriate materials, ensuring proper labeling.
- Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in inventory control processes, including cycle counting and stock organization.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely to meet delivery deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and high productivity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not strictly required for entry-level positions.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to cross-train on various warehouse functions (picking, packing, shipping).
