Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Receive, inspect, and store incoming merchandise using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select items for orders and prepare them for shipment, ensuring all documentation is complete.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions or damages immediately.
- Organization: Keep work areas, aisles, and storage racks clean and organized to facilitate efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for scanning and inventory checks.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and paperwork.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work a rotating schedule.
