Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload freight trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Inventory Control: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels in the warehouse management system.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with all OSHA safety regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure proper labeling.
- Equipment Handling: Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report malfunctions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Availability: Must be available to work part-time hours, including nights and weekends.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Certification is a major plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory tracking.
- Communication: Ability to read and understand basic instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
