Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload freight from trailers using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Packaging: Properly pack, seal, and label packages to ensure they arrive at their destination in perfect condition.
- Inventory Control: Assist in the organization of inventory and perform cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable mode of transportation.
