Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and package merchandise for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and organizing stock areas to ensure efficiency.
- Truck Loading/Unloading: Safely load and unload freight trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Order Fulfillment: Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: No prior warehouse experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for long periods.
- Attention to Detail: Must be able to follow instructions carefully and maintain accuracy.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and available for scheduled shifts.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
