Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and pack merchandise to ensure timely and correct order fulfillment.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate stock levels and perform cycle counts to ensure inventory integrity.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy materials within the facility.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Load/Unload Operations: Efficiently load and unload trucks using proper equipment and techniques.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and report discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well within a team.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to read work orders and safety labels.
