We are looking for reliable individuals who are ready to hit the ground running in our state-of-the-art Detroit facility.
Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Accurately select and package merchandise according to customer orders using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Quality Assurance: Verify item quantities, ensure proper packaging for safe shipment, and inspect products for defects.
- Inventory Management: Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (training provided upon qualification), and conveyor systems.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow associates to meet daily production goals.
- Load Preparation: Prepare pallets and containers for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods. Must be comfortable working in various temperatures.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse software and scanning devices quickly.
- Reliability: Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the Detroit facility.
- Compliance: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
