Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Retrieve items from shelves using handheld scanners and packing them securely for shipment according to customer orders.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets our high-quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Organization: Keep the packing station organized and tidy to maximize efficiency.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for long periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read labels, pick tickets, and verify order accuracy.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work flexible shifts, including overtime when necessary.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic.
