Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment using handheld barcode scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or damaged goods immediately to the shift lead.
- Space Optimization: Maintain an organized and efficient workspace by organizing stock according to established safety and productivity protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and warehouse regulations to ensure a secure environment for all employees.
- Quality Control: Inspect packages for damage and ensure proper labeling and sealing before they leave the facility.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery as required.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly; comfortable standing for long periods.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanning devices.
- Reliability: Demonstrated ability to arrive on time, work well under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Teamwork: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
