Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and modes (air, ocean, ground)
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices) for compliance
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS systems and provide proactive client updates
- Resolve transportation delays and optimize routing for cost/time efficiency
- Liaise with warehouse teams for accurate inventory staging and loading
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain relationships with carriers and negotiate rates
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination with LTL/FCL experience
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazardous materials
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCP, CLTD) preferred
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and work in warehouse environments
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
