Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stage inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in the physical counting and organizing of stock within the warehouse aisles.
- Package and label items for shipment, ensuring proper handling of fragile goods.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to update inventory counts in real-time.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic computer skills and comfort using handheld scanners.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (if required for the specific shift).
- Reliable transportation to the New Orleans facility.
