Responsibilities
- Receiving & Inspection: Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspect for damage, and log items into the inventory system.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently retrieve items using scanners and packing materials, ensuring accuracy and order integrity.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate stock levels, rotate stock to prevent spoilage/damage, and conduct cycle counts.
- Shipping Preparation: Prepare pallets for outbound delivery, apply labels, and ensure compliance with shipping standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we provide training for the right candidates.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and bend/stoop frequently.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- License: Valid Forklift Operator Certification is a major plus.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime and holidays as needed.
