Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely and efficiently load, unload, and stage merchandise using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate cycle counts, receive shipments, and verify stock against packing lists to minimize errors.
- Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by locating items in the warehouse, ensuring proper packaging, and preparing them for shipment.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all 5S standards and safety protocols.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic daily inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues to management immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other associates to meet daily throughput goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or fulfillment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a consistent basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Certifications: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
