Responsibilities
- Operate Warehouse Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move inventory.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and secured.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, counting, and stocking merchandise to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or errors, reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow associates to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Minimum educational requirement.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
- Equipment Certification: Current forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain high standards of accuracy.
