As a key member of our distribution team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive their orders accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and report discrepancies to management promptly.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery as required.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Receiving: Inspect incoming shipments for damage or shortages and process them into the inventory system.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
