Responsibilities
- Operational Efficiency: Load, unload, and organize incoming and outgoing freight safely and efficiently using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate inventory counts, stock organization, and cycle counts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Packaging: Prepare, package, and label shipments according to company standards and customer requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery (certification provided upon hiring).
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure quality standards are met before shipping.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow associates to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required (we provide on-the-job training).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and excellent time management skills.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation is required to commute to the facility.
