Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, scan, and record inventory using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision to ensure high satisfaction rates.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free warehouse floor to facilitate efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we provide comprehensive on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with barcode scanners is highly desirable.
- Availability: Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
