Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and verify orders to ensure customer satisfaction and inventory accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records within the warehouse management system.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure operational safety and longevity.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Shipping & Receiving: Verify incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies, and process outgoing shipments promptly.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in data entry and order fulfillment.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
