Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and prepare customer orders for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock integrity.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
- Shipment Preparation: Inspect, label, and package products securely for transit to ensure damage-free delivery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe workplace for everyone.
- General Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and processing orders.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is required for some driving duties.
