Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload freight using pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual lifting techniques
- Inspect products for damage and verify inventory counts against shipping documents
- Maintain organized warehouse storage areas and follow safety protocols at all times
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, hand trucks) after proper certification
- Collaborate with team members to optimize loading efficiency and meet deadlines
- Complete daily paperwork and reports accurately and promptly
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain forklift certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
