Responsibilities
- Load/unload freight from trucks and containers using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently
- Verify inventory accuracy through systematic scanning and documentation processes
- Maintain organized storage systems to optimize warehouse space utilization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipment deadlines
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Prepare outbound shipments through proper packaging and labeling procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain through company training
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy with inventory software familiarity preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation tasks
- Proven reliability and punctuality in previous employment history
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced team environments
