Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload freight from trucks using proper equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks)
- Inspect goods for damage and maintain accurate inventory records
- Operate warehouse machinery following OSHA safety protocols
- Organize stock in designated warehouse zones for efficient retrieval
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping deadlines
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
