Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload merchandise from trucks and delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Accuracy: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse machinery safely and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sorting, stacking, and shelving products.
- Inventory Counts: Assist in periodic inventory counts and stock organization to maintain accurate records.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork accurately, including packing slips and delivery logs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver's license is required; forklift certification is a plus.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting and strong attention to detail.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive team-oriented mindset.
