Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload freight using manual and powered equipment
- Inspect goods for damage and ensure proper documentation
- Maintain organized warehouse inventory and staging areas
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping/receiving goals
- Assist in inventory counts and quality control checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
- Positive attitude and reliable work ethic
