Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products and materials to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, accuracy of labels, and quality control standards.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment by adhering to all safety protocols and 5S standards.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare pallets for shipping using shrink wrap and banding equipment efficiently and securely.
- Inventory Support: Assist in inventory cycle counts, stock organization, and locating specific stock items.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations regarding the operation of heavy equipment and the handling of goods.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse setting or logistics role is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory management and reading order forms.
- Equipment: Ability to operate standard warehouse machinery (training provided upon hire).
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
