Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks and trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual equipment with precision and care.
- Verify inventory accuracy by checking shipments against packing lists and identifying any discrepancies immediately.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring products are easily accessible and organized by category.
- Prepare orders for shipment by packing, labeling, and applying shipping materials to ensure safe transit.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace by sweeping floors, organizing pallets, and adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Operate handheld scanners and computer systems to track inventory movement and update stock levels in real-time.
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance and support other team members during peak operational hours.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina required to lift, carry, and move heavy items weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Basic math skills are necessary for counting inventory and preparing paperwork.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as business needs arise.
- Valid Driver's License (not required for the role, but beneficial for mobility within the facility).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
