Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks and delivery vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and document any discrepancies immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to ensure efficient workflow.
- Machinery Operation: Operate warehouse machinery and equipment in compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage during transit and report issues to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor is a plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills for scanning/barcoding.
