Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, pallets, and containers using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, tag, and record incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure stock levels match records.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage or defects before processing and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
- Documentation: Accurately complete shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required paperwork.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not always mandatory for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Certifications: Forklift certification is a plus but we provide training for the right candidates.
- Reliability: Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to pass a background check.
