Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Enforce rigorous safety standards and OSHA compliance to prevent accidents and maintain a secure working environment.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular audits and implement inventory control systems to minimize shrinkage.
- Analyze operational metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Coordinate with logistics teams and vendors to resolve supply chain issues and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing performance metrics.
- Valid forklift certification and familiarity with Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate staff.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field is a plus.
