Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, or Pallet Jack) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on all forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and complete documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, organizing aisles, and removing debris.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines, including wearing proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and stock organization as requested by supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding inventory levels and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) with a valid license and recent experience operating heavy machinery.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and navigating tight warehouse aisles.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret safety labels, tags, and operational manuals.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management software is a plus.
