Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload shipments onto and from trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move inventory efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Assist in verifying incoming and outgoing stock by checking numbers, quantities, and quality.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse floor, organizing stock and shelving units.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for shipment to customers.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but training can be provided.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- License: Valid driver's license is required.
