Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks, pallets, and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Organize and stack inventory neatly on shelves or pallets to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices and packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist in inventory counts and report any discrepancies to the warehouse manager immediately.
- Operate warehouse equipment (Forklift certification preferred but not always required).
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
