Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks and warehouse shelves using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage, accuracy, and quantity to ensure quality control standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety compliance and efficient workflow.
- Follow safety protocols strictly, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to OSHA regulations.
- Process orders accurately by picking, packing, and labeling products for shipment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets and deadlines.
- Perform physical labor which may include standing for long periods, bending, and lifting heavy objects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required for entry-level positions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Forklift certification is highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) is required for certain roles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills for scanning labels or operating warehouse management software.
