Job Summary:
Our Warehouse Loaders are responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, utilizing various material handling equipment to ensure inventory accuracy and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks, railcars, and pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Verification: Verify shipment contents against packing lists to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Organization: Stack and organize merchandise in designated storage areas to maximize space utilization and safety.
- Equipment Operation: Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory levels accurately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines, wear appropriate PPE, and maintain a clean work environment.
- Documentation: Complete daily logs and reports regarding shipment status and inventory counts.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- License: Valid Driver's License (Class B CDL preferred but not mandatory for all positions).
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
