Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload shipments onto and off trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing materials against shipping documents, identifying any discrepancies.
- Organization: Stack and organize merchandise in the warehouse and storage areas efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Maintenance: Perform routine checks on equipment and maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency to follow instructions and communicate with team members.
- License: Valid driver's license (Class B or CDL preferred but not strictly required for all loader positions).
- Reliability: Must have a reliable work history and be available for overtime as needed.
