Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Organize and stock inventory in the warehouse to maintain optimal storage conditions.
- Utilize material handling equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts) according to safety guidelines.
- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to prevent errors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Report damaged goods or safety hazards to management immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and labeling.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (loading docks).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
