Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify inventory accuracy by checking items against shipping manifests and purchase orders.
- Package and prepare merchandise for shipment, ensuring proper handling and protection.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to ensure safety compliance.
- Operate material handling equipment (MHE) safely and according to standard operating procedures.
- Assist in the organization of stock rooms and fulfillment centers.
- Report damaged goods or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50-75 pounds repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions (loading docks).
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and ticketing.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work on feet.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
