Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trailers and trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Organize and stock incoming inventory accurately to ensure proper stock levels.
- Packing & Labeling: Pack products securely for shipping and apply correct shipping labels and barcodes.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production goals.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure only high-quality items are shipped to customers.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and have a consistent work history.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping data.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand instructions and communicate with supervisors.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required depending on the specific shift.
- Experience: Prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
