Responsibilities
- Safe Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks, pallets, and conveyors using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor.
- Inventory Verification: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, errors, and quality assurance before processing.
- Organization: Sort, stack, and organize products in the warehouse to maintain an efficient storage layout.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift checks on equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure workflow continuity.
Qualifications
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand for long periods, walk extensively, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor is preferred but not mandatory.
- License: Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle (if applicable).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and packaging.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends during peak seasons.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
