Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks and freight cars using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Sort, organize, and stage inventory in designated areas for accurate tracking.
- Operate handheld RF scanners to update inventory systems in real-time.
- Package and label products securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse workspace, adhering to 5S standards.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments for outbound delivery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for counting and inventory verification.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in various temperatures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
