Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload freight from trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling techniques
- Verify inventory accuracy and maintain organized warehouse documentation
- Operate warehouse equipment following strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies to management
- Maintain clean, organized workspace and contribute to 5S compliance
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits as scheduled
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work in cold storage environments (0-40°F)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Strong teamwork skills and reliability
