Responsibilities
- Efficiently load/unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Verify inventory accuracy through systematic scanning and documentation
- Maintain warehouse organization per OSHA and company safety standards
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) for real-time tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily/weekly targets
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends during peak seasons
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Newark, NJ residency preferred
