Responsibilities
- Load and unload products from delivery trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect goods for damage during transit and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and free of safety hazards.
- Package goods securely to prevent damage during storage and transit.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50-70 pounds repeatedly.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred, not always required for loading).
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (loading docks).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
