Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload shipments from trucks using various equipment, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Machinery Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counting and maintaining accurate stock levels in the warehouse system.
- Packaging & Labeling: Inspect items for damage, apply correct labels, and package products for shipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of clutter to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to verify product accuracy and spot potential shipping errors.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to interact with supervisors and team members.
- Reliability: Consistent work history and a valid driver's license (optional but preferred).
