Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse floor to prevent accidents and improve workflow.
- Material Handling: Properly stack and secure products to prevent damage during transit.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and shipping labels.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (loading docks).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Forklift certification (if applicable) or willingness to be trained.
