Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks according to safety guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to prevent accidents and improve workflow.
- Packing: Properly pack and secure goods to ensure they arrive at their destination damage-free.
- Equipment Care: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping, or receiving is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- License: Valid driver's license required.
- Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
