Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently and safely, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment as required.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Sort, organize, and stock inventory in designated storage areas.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and checkweighing.
- Valid driver's license (not always required, but preferred for yard duties).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
