Responsibilities
- Safely load/untract freight using manual and powered equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Verify shipment accuracy against manifests and documentation
- Maintain clean, organized work areas following OSHA standards
- Operate warehouse technology (WMS scanners, inventory systems)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock operations
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory verification
- Valid driver's license (required for forklift certification)
- Reliable transportation to 24/7 rotating shifts
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Willingness to obtain required certifications during training
