Responsibilities
- Pick, Pack, and Prepare: Efficiently select items from inventory shelves and prepare them for shipment using handheld scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate Powered Conveyor Trucks (PCT), pallet jacks, and forklifts to move goods within the facility.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and ensure stock rotation (FIFO) is strictly followed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, keep workstations organized, and report any hazards or damaged goods immediately.
- Quality Control: Inspect packages for damage before shipping and ensure labels are accurate to prevent shipping errors.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily productivity targets and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods (8+ hours) in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanners or WMS systems is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to ensure order fulfillment is error-free.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
